The NFA Process — Made Simple
Buying a suppressor or other NFA item doesn’t have to be complicated. Here’s how it works with Mattson Munitions:
Step 1: Create Your ATF eForms Account
You’ll need an ATF eForms account before we can submit your paperwork.

Go to the ATF eForms website

Create a username and PIN - MAKE SURE THIS IS DONE

USERNAME - NOT YOUR EMAIL

PIN - YOU CREATED THIS 4 DIGIT PIN

Save this info — you’ll use it during submission

Step 2: Choose Your Suppressor
We’ll help you pick the right suppressor based on:

Caliber(s)

Rifle or host firearm

Hunting, range, or duty use
In-stock options available, with more arriving regularly.
Step 3: Electronic Fingerprints & Photo
This is the “hard part” — and we handle it.

Electronic fingerprints (EFT)

Passport-style photo

Takes about 10 minutes

We keep your prints on file for future NFA items
Step 4: eForm Submission
We complete and submit your ATF eForm with you:

Individual or Trust - We can help setup or modify an existing trust.

Must provide a digital copy prior to submission.

All paperwork reviewed for accuracy

Submitted electronically for faster processing
Step 5: Wait for ATF Approval
Approval times vary. Once approved:

You’re notified

You come pick up your suppressor
